I'm Samantha... the mastermind behind S.E.A.N. Photography. 

 

Many people don't know what S.E.A.N. means or why I use it... *here's a clue.... it's my initials before I was married! 

 

I’m a Sam Houston State Bearkat Alumni, c/o 2013! Eat ‘Em Up Kats! I graduated with a degree you wouldn’t expect of a photographer… Animal Science, minoring in Wildlife Ecology.

 

I work full time as a Logistics Coordinator for an O&G Exploration company that I've worked for since 2013. (Prior to moving into this position, I worked offshore on Drilling/Geotechinical vessels. Aka… I played in dirt and get to travel the world all in the name of work! Hahaha)

 

I've been married to my husband since 2019 but with him since 2009 - crazy how time flies! He’s a UofH Cougar… it’s alright, every man’s gotta have his faults. Haha, jk – it’s a great house divided. Also, our handsome son was born in Aug of 2020.

 

We’ve got a 4 dogs (Chevelle, Richey, Boz and Axel). I grew up showing dogs (like… since the age of 5!) and was also an international defensive pistol competitor (from 11-19), winning many national awards between the two.

 

I love doing natural light photography, since 2010, because it brings out the real beauty in everyone and everything. :D

 

And last but not least, I love working with my clients. I have done many things to go above and beyond to please them, because without them I wouldn’t be able to express my joy of capturing memories as much as I’d like to. ;)
